![]() ![]() As expected, the display adapter was now the "Microsoft Basic Display". So now I thought it was maybe a driver issue so I used DDU to completley remove all nvidia drivers I had on my PC and then restarted. I put it back together and kept the side of my PC open while it was running and the fans were fine, it didn't make any weird sounds but when windows finally booted back up, it was in 1024x768 and wouldn't Made sure the video cards cpu had enough thermal paste. So I took the card out and took it apart thinking maybe a fan was stuck or there was dust or something on the circuitboard, I even Then it started to get to the windows logo and the computer would reboot over and over. It did the same thing for awhile after and A month later, I turned my pc on and when it came to the windows logo, it looked like the moniter was trying to display three differant screens on one monitor. I recently (as in 2 months ago) got a GTX 760 as a gift and I installed it after removing my 460 and it was Its been great and I've been using my GTX 460 SE video card to game with. Ok, so I've had this computer for about 3 years now and I built it myself.
